Il San Pietro Di Positano

We were fortunate to live in Rome for three years and traveled often to the Amalfi. Of all the hotels we visited and stayed, Il San Pietro Di Positano was always my favorite.

I love Positano – the beauty, the shops, and even the steps. But sometimes Positano can get a “little crowded.” Which is why Il San Pietro Di Positano is so great… it’s a couple kilometers “down” the Amalfi highway from the city. In fact, the most famous photos of Positano seem to all be taken from their terrace! So while I enjoy Positano, I like to be transported to a quiet, serene, and totally luxurious environment… You’ll find that Il San Pietro Di Positano can become your sanctuary in bustling Positano.

The Il San Pietro Di Positano, like most buildings in Positano, sits on a cliff overhanging the bay. But here you feel like you’re PART of the cliff. Every room has an ocean view… and the rooms are incredible!

The room types include Standard, De Luxe, Junior Special, Superior Special, and Premier Special. I would start at a DeLuxe, just because they have the size that most guest are perhaps accustomed to. Standard and Deluxe Rooms are highly comfortable. All rooms have a private terrace overlooking the sea, safe box, minibar, air-conditioning, satellite TV, and jacuzzi. My wife spent most her time at the hotel on the terraces – what incredible views.

The “Special Rooms” are so-called because of their position in the hotel, and size. Each special room is different.
